located in the heart of venice beach, california, the studio set-up allows for the utmost privacy, while still giving a sense of open space.  our non-descript exterior offers privacy, while the skylights and the north-facing mirror window provide a public view of venice: the sun, the pacific ocean and the eclectic residents of the venice community.  a genuine venice “secret,” the studio remains popular with celebrities and crews that want to have a place to themselves – on the beach!

we are more than a studio space.  the focus studio is a place where customization is the norm, and all the amenities to make the space your own are readily available. use our innovative and versatile “walls on wheels” system of custom-made moveable panels for a wardrobe, hair and make-up area, or a catwalk.   listen to your ipod or cd’s on our bose stereo system.  check your e-mail on your laptop, or the studio’s mac g5 on our wi-fi network.  watch a movie or video presentation on our dvd projector. or, just relax in our lounge area in mid-century modern comfort while catching up on your favorite magazines.
